Shortly after completing his military service career, Evan McDonald, known to all as E. E. McDonald, began work in the funeral industry in the California area. In 1971, he returned to Mississippi and has continued to serve in the Meridian area. He first opened E. E. McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. in De Kalb and now has a second location, E. E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian, Miss. E. E. McDonald and his wife, Joyce, are both owners and licensed funeral directors. He is an active member of the Mississippi Funeral Directors and Morticians Association and the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Associations. They both strive to provide care, comfort and service to families during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
